Terri Schiavo Needs Our Faithfulness in Prayer

To my readers,
The battle is engaged for real in Terri's life. The authorities have had the feeding tube removed, not just left unused. They want to be sure that she cannot be fed. There is also an order that she may not be fed by mouth.

While I never give up in these arenas of spiritual battle, I know some may. Now is the time to fast and pray the hardest and in earnest. As Churchill said in a commencement address, 'Never give up, never, never, never.' As Christians we should never give up, for God is in this and His Will will be done, and if Terri dies, I believe God will have the best for her in His eternal plan.

Now for those who want more information go here and follow the post and information in the comments. There are other links in former posts I have left that are still active. However, pray, hold firm in commitment and resolve.

The battle is to the Lord for He is ever faithful. Let us all be faithful.

Holy God, we humbly ask that you hold Terri in your loving arms and ease her suffering. We also ask that you embrace her parents and comfort them in their grief as only You can do. May you show Yourself strong in this great tragedy. Teach us Lord to look to you for our strength and give us the grace to be stronger in faith through this experience. In the name of Christ we pray. Amen.
Update: 2/21/05 Bill passed Congress dispite attempts to stall and stop its passing and President Bush signed in the early hours this morning. Pray that, if it is God's will, this bill will hold up to judicial review. Prayer is still the strongest avenue and we must be faithful in this battle for life.
